If you’ve ever walked through the old Lapinlahti hospital grounds, you know there’s a specific kind of quiet there: the kind that actually lets you get work done. We have a desk free in Ateljee 10, and we’re looking for someone new to join our little community.
The workspace itself is in the old head physician’s apartment. It’s got those massive windows, high ceilings, and that incredible natural light that makes even a long Tuesday feel a bit better. You’re surrounded by parkland and the sea, so when your brain hits a wall, you can just step outside for a walk or swim in the sea(one of the oldest saunas in the city is nearby).
It’s a mix of international creative professionals—photographers, writers, researchers, and artists. It’s social if you want it to be, but it’s mostly a place where people actually show up to focus on their craft. Also a center of great events happening, e.g. @lapinlahtifilmfestival @mental_hyg1ene
